The entire experience proceeded seamlessly. They arranged for transportation from my hotel. I had three suits and ten shirts tailored, and Ronny's assistance during the fitting was exceptional; he provided excellent guidance throughout. The entire process was completed within five days. Over the course of six months I researched custom tailors in Bangkok for my upcoming trip this past March/April.  After talking with several I settled on Universal Tailors due to their responsiveness to my questions and the sense that they were amongst the best in the city.  Upon visiting Universal Tailors - during Songkran - I (and my wife) was immediately offered refreshments to combat the 95+ degree weather and then they quickly got to work.  First they help to fit a jacket I had brought on my trip that I felt needed the sleeves shortened (which they did at no cost) and then they measured me for my new jacket.  After being measured I was shown an endless assortment of fabrics and lining for the jacket as well as fabrics for shirts.  I settled on a beautiful green tweed with an amazing paisley lining as well as 3 shirts.  Given it was the New Year holiday they could not work on the jackets and shirts while I was in the city so I waited anxiously to get them via DHL.  Well, they arrive yesterday - incredibly folded and packed into a bag - and I couldn't be happier.  The sleeves on my existing jacket were now the correct length and the shirts were so nice and fit me perfectly.  But the highlight of it all was my new, gorgeous blazer with a crazy cool lining.  It fitted me, like the shirts perfectly and I could not have picked a better color combination.  I cannot wait to wear these new clothes and cannot THANK Custom Tailors enough for their service and attention to details. Been to this tailor 3 times now over many years. Each time I'm in Bangkok, I make it a point to get clothes done with them. Price is not the cheapest, but not overpriced either. They do recommend good quality materials which have lasted me for over 5 years with little wear and tear. The tailors are friendly and flexible with special requests, including short turn-around time (2-3 days). Don't forget to request customisation of threads and buttons too, which can add a nice dash of colour to the clothes.
